Angel in waiting
An angel in waiting you
were finally called home,
now you are healed and
once again whole.
Given to this world
for such a short time,
hearts that are broken
because we were left behind.
An angel so pure and divine
sharing your love and faith
in the lord and teaching
it to us all.
Showering us all with a
pure and untainted love,
never preaching to us but
showing us Gods love.
To you time here was long but
for us left behind time was
swift and you were taken before
we wanted to let go.
An angel in waiting sent to earth
you blessed our lives with so much,
now God has taken you home to walk
the streets that are paved in gold.
Smiling down upon us now
knowing how much we love and
miss you yet knowing we wouldn't
bring you back even if we could.
An Angel in waiting thats finally
been called to heavens gate by
the greatest love of her life and
now rest peacefully in her fathers home.
